Thanks Mitz! Happy Easter. I hope you’re feeling better. Its a shame you had to miss fish, but I suppose Mike brought you some. I, like you, wish we could have been with everybody. It’s a little weird being home without family being around on holidays. Its the meaning of the holidays that count though.

…these made my day and cheered me up. i sent Mike to Jim and Pam’s. I was not feeling too hot, but I knew I could count on you, Michele and the kids to give me a smile.

okay, really….who’s kid is he really?????Talent, good looks, mannered and a whiz at everything. Are you sure you didn’t switch babies at the hospital? haha. I am so proud and his picture is fabulous!!!!

Sean,
I did not know that today was your last day but God did and knew you needed prayer.
I told 2 different customers at work that the date was July 13th. I did not catch it the first time, but the second time, I laughed out loud and said “got it Lord, Sean’s birth date …you want me to pray for him, so I have been.
This is by no means your LAST DAY!!!, but the first day of that “something great ”
that I have been telling you about!!

He even gave me the letter “G” in the alphabet. I don’t know if this is a company, a person, or what, but it has something to do with your future and its a super one.
I know in reading this that you will not think me crazy and you also know that when it comes to God’s revelation, I don’t much care what others think of me. God can take care of His own and His own reputation.
Take joy, my brother, when trials are sent our way.
re-read the book of James…he doesn’t say, ” if the trials come, he says “WHEN”…

You are not in this alone. I know that you know this.
It doesn’t matter where we sit…God is still on the throne>

I love you and Hey, Happy Birthday, I guess. haha.

Hi Sean and Michele, Alex and Madelyn,
Merry Late Christmas first of all!! We got home late and then had company, then too late to call.
I know the kids had a great time!!

I loved your true Christmas Bible Story and Yes. your assistant Pastor is so right.
The “gift’” is that one true “gift” that saves us from eternat Hell and darkness.
The gift that brings us out of darkness and into the eternal life of Hearven and light.
The true gift that required blood and sacrifice…that of Jesus Christ.
In Hebrews, this is explained so well.
The Gift is free to us but the cost to God was the deathe of His Son…a true blood sacrifice on our behalf.
That is why the Bible also says that the greatest gift is love…
and no greater love than a man lay down his life fo another.
I am willing to buy someone a box of candy on Christmas…
am I as willing to offer the gift of Christ
or more yet, my life for another?
I haven’t been asked to do so yet, but I would hope that if asked that I could meet the task.

It makes me think of the war going on now and those in the past…its okay to hate the wars but not the warriors…those that have laid down their lives for us so that we may be free.

I do wonder though, how the world can acknowledge their sacrifice and not recognize and accept the one that God made for us in Jesus.

I love you all so much and miss you.

Sean…that little boy (and his sister) were BORN TO FISH…it is in their genes.
That fish would have overwhelmed me.
I wish I would have been there to see his face.
There is something so scary and exciting when what you have on one end of the pole feels as strong as the force on the other end.

I’ll post the fish picture. He was beside himself! Its good to hear that Mike is doing well. I have been praying for him a alot. I really hope he can live without the anxiety related to the heart issue. It can’t be any fun being constantly reminded of your mortality.

Also, thanks for taking care of mom. She missed you when you were gone.
